The Second Parable: The Chosen One and the Day of Judgment

1. And this is the Second Parable concerning those who deny the name of the dwelling of the holy ones and of the Lord of Spirits.

2. They shall not ascend to heaven,
   and shall not return to the earth;
   such shall be the lot of the sinners
   who have denied the name of the Lord of Spirits,
   who are thus preserved for the day of suffering and tribulation.

3. On that day the Elect One shall sit upon the throne of glory
   and shall choose among their deeds;
   and their places shall be without number.
   Their spirits shall grow strong within them
   when they see the Elect One,
   and those who have called upon His holy name.

4. Then shall the kings and the mighty perish,
   and be given into the hands of the righteous and holy.

5. And from then on, none shall seek for themselves mercy from the Lord of Spirits,
   for their life is at an end.
