-
Observe the heaven, you children of heaven, and every work of the Most High, and fear Him, and do not do evil in His presence.
-
If He closes the windows of heaven and withholds the rain and the dew, what will you do then?
-
And if He sends His wrath upon you because of your deeds, will you not cry out and entreat Him? But how will you speak if your words are not righteous?
-
You do not regard the hearts of the righteous when you eat and drink with them, and fill your belly with the good things of the earth, yet you have not remembered the Most High in the days of your plenty.
-
You have sinned against Him who created you, and you have spoken proud and harsh words with your impure mouths against His greatness. Oh, you hard-hearted! You shall find no peace.
-
Therefore, you shall curse your days, and the years of your life shall perish, and the years of your destruction shall multiply in eternal damnation, and you shall find no mercy.
-
In those days, your names shall be a curse forever unto all the righteous, and by you shall all those who curse, curse, and all the sinners and godless shall reproach you forever.
-
But for the righteous and holy, those who shall live, their names shall be written in the Book of Life, and joy shall be theirs, and peace and gladness, and they shall inherit the earth.
-
Woe to you who have committed unrighteousness and devoured the blood of the righteous; for you shall have no peace.
