-
I swear to you, righteous ones, that in heaven the angels remember you for good before the glory of the Great One: your names are written before the glory of the Great One.
-
Be hopeful! For now you were formerly put to shame through evils and affliction, but now you shall shine like the lights of heaven, and you shall be seen, and the portals of heaven shall be opened to you.
-
Continue your cry for judgment, and it shall appear to you: for all your tribulations shall be visited on the rulers, and on all who helped those who plundered you.
-
Be hopeful and cast not away your hope, for you shall have great joy as the angels of heaven.
-
What shall you be obliged to do? You shall not have to hide on the day of the great judgment, nor shall you be found as sinners, but the eternal judgment shall be far from you for all generations.
-
And now fear not, you righteous, when you see the sinners growing strong and prospering in their ways: be not companions with them, but keep far from their violence.
-
For you shall be companions of the hosts of heaven.
-
Though you sinners say, “All our sins shall not be searched out or written down,” nevertheless they shall be written down every day.
-
And now I show you that light and darkness, day and night, see all your sins.
-
Be not godless in your hearts, and lie not, and alter not the words of truth, nor accuse the words of the Holy Great One, nor falsify His words.
-
Do not take account of your idols; for all your lies and all your wickedness issue not in righteousness but in great sin.
-
And now I know this mystery: for they shall transmit their writings through all generations, so that by them the righteous and wise shall be preserved, and not fall into sin until the day of judgment.
-
Now I know this: they who are righteous shall be rewarded by reading and understanding these writings, and they shall preserve them in truth.
